67% Of Companies Fail Credit Card Security Compliance

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard was created to help keep your credit cards safe from "cyber/hacking" theft. A recent study showed that 67% of companies that are supposed to be following the PCI guidelines are still not compliant. According to this report half of the major security professionals view the PCI as a burden and over half dont believe that it really helps improve security. From our stand point, maybe it is a burden, maybe its harder to implement the steps for security. Maybe there is a chance that the business security will still be compromised. But you have to think about it like anything else. Would you leave for a vacation and leave your house unlocked because it takes work to get your key out to lock the door? Contact Alpine and put the burden of PCI security on us. (877)217-0707
