If it can happen to Sony

We post numerous stories about breaches in security and malicious attacks on companies where customers information is compromised. Another major technology company, Sony, recently had its PlayStation Network maliciously attacked and it is reported that some 2.2 million users credit card information, "may" have been leaked in the hack.

Sony states: "If you have provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity, out of an abundance of caution we are advising you that your credit card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have been obtained"

Man arrested after hacking into the Federal Reserve. He had 400,000 credit card numbers at his disposal and was selling them for $1,000.00 each. If someone is able to hack into the Federal Reserve, they most likely would be able to hack into your point of sale system that doesn't have a firewall or security. Pay at the Pump

When using your credit or debit card to pay for gas, be aware of the risk. Gas stations are on the rise for having skimmer placed over the card reader or worse, behind the reader where you cannot visibly see it.
