Is your Credit Card Terminal Safe?

In Ann Arbor Michigan recently a local bar was hacked into and numerous customers cards were compromised. According to police, the restaurants’ credit card processing computer was vulnerable to computer hackers allowing them to hack the system and gain access to all of the credit/debit card numbers that had been used at the location.

A bar waitress in Detroit was arrested after using a skimming device to steal customers credit cards. When police arrested her she handed over the skimmer, admitted to her crime, and now faces up to 10 years in prison.
